The Summer Leaning Journey

 Hi Bloggers

How are you doing? How are you doing this pandemic?. Anyways I am doing one of the activities in the summer learning journey. For those who don't know what the summer learning journey is it's a fun and exciting time to spend your time during the holidays to learn and grow and keep up the grades when you come back to school, it is an amazing experience. Today I was told to write about someone. Who was an author of many books, and his name was: Roald He liked to make up words! So Mr Riceman has asked me to make up five more words.( by the way that part  sounds tricky) : bingie babaeng Shane Avengers fencing Shack.

summer learning journey part 2.

Hello  everybody. I hope you're doing well during this covid-19 pandemic! A few weeks ago a special guest came in and it was a dear friend of Mr Hing Windsor's and his flatmate and she lives in his house. Also her name is: Ella. She came as a mentor teacher to do a whole lot of cool art with us. First of all you had to get a thick brown paper. Then you had to colour and a background with cool patterns with pastel. Then you had to cover it with black paint and then you had to scratch it out with a skewer. if you would like to see my art here is a picture down below. please permit for any advice or some positive negative or any kind of things that I could fix up.

The Production!

In this picture can you find me?

Hi bloggers,
How are you? Our school Waikowhai Primary has a production that we perform every two years. Last week we held a 5 performances of Jasmine and Aladdin at Waikowhai Intermediate School hall. Me and my class did a dance and the song that our class danced to is called: Wipe Out By: Zumba kids . Some of my family came to one of the performances (it was my mum and dad). This production was an amazing experience for me and hopefully the rest of the school. Miss McGrath was an amazing Boss plus the director. She organised all of the actors. Miss McGrath made one magnificent production. It was a lot of hard work and it took the seniors 13 weeks to rehearse I am very proud of them all. See you later Bloggers😁

skateboarding skills

Hello! How are you doing Bloggers? On the 13th of November on Friday, me and the middles had skateboarding skills. It was so much fun. Not only did I learn how to ride the skateboard, but I also learnt cool new tricks. There was one move that was tricky but also fun.

Let me go over the steps for you.

1. You rest the skateboard on the end of your feet.

2. Then you jump and try and flip the skateboard with you and land on it.

The seniors were at some other event so me and my class got two sessions so that was very cool and amazing. What an amazing experience of riding a skateboard.  I can't wait to go on them next time. See you later bloggers Hope you stay safe out there.

Lego workshop

 Hi Bloggers

How are you all? On  Wednesday  the 18th of November at Waikowhai Primary School Hall there were two ladies and their names were: Vanessa and Claire. You could also call them Robin and Batman. There were 7 Lego stations that my class and I could go to they were: jungle, stars, spaceship, the layers of the ground, the planets and so on. At the end we could go to our favourite one. My BFF Anna and I went to the jungle station. It was so much fun and such an experience of Lego. I hope that people understand why I Love ❤ Lego! See you later Bloggers! From: Aley

surprise! By: Aley

Hi again and welcome to my blog ( again)

You are probably wondering why this blog post has a title called... "SURPRISE". Any who, I'll tell you. On Athletics day I was home sick but me and my mum went for this huge walk. I had size 2 shoes so my toes really hurt so my Mum and I quickly ran over to Rebel Sport and we were able to get some new shoes plus we got a new jacket. It was such a surprise! Now you see why I put the title is the surprise because it was totally unexpected that we were going to go to Rebel Sport.

Day 29 while in lock down

Hi bloggers

Today I did something new and that new something was rollerskating.  It felt so weird when I tried on some of my mummy's old roller skates from when she was young.  They were really complicated to walk in. WHOA as I made my way to the car wow my arms were everywhere . I finally got into the car and off we went to my dads  work. I got out of the car as soon when we got there.  I could not wait to get to get started.  I impatiently waited for mum to come and get me.  It was really fun until at the end I fell off my feet and grazed my knee. So I got my mummy to help me up and go to my dads work. We covered my knee and then went home. Love From Aley 😍🐈🐈 Also I am so sorry I miss a day of blogging

day 27 while in lock down

Hi bloggers

Today the good news is I did not fall off my bike today and that is the good news. The bad new is I had to pack my LEGO away. But I guess it is important for my mummy to vacuum the floor.  There are lots of other things that are happy that happened today.  I did a lot of work from Te Ana Ako. All of them were hard (especially those  equations that one teacher put up ).  Today I went for a big BIG bike ride with my daddy and it was amazing and cool and fun. Me and my daddy went half way around the park and lots of time around the car prak. but most of all I liked that I got to be with my daddy. Love From Aley 😍🐈🐈

day 26 while in lock down

Hi bloggers

Today I was doing some more of my sewing project. I really enjoyed it because it really takes my mind off of things that are very annoying.  Sewing  really feels like you do not have to worry about anything. It is amazing. Hear is a tip : once you get something done it feels really good to get over and done with and move on to the next step.

This project has taught me to do the double running stitch and it is really fun , cool  and really really amazing.

Day 21 while in Lockdown

Hi bloggers

Today in lock down I attended my first school meeting in the afternoon.  It was really exciting but kind of short to me.  Everything went well only because it was just saying what you had done during lock down.  It was fun to see my friends and hear about what they were doing.

During lock down I am having virtual play dates on the phone with my friends.  One of my friends is Janna and she doesn't go to my school, so it's great to be able to see her and talk with her on Face time.  Today we did a virtual dance competition which was fun. Love From Aley

Day 20 while in lock down

Hi bloggers

This afternoon me and my daddy went for a ride on my bike. We went all around the park but ... when we started to ride back home I went up a ledge and I accidentally went on the grass and my tyre on my bike touch the concrete and then I was twirling and then I jumped off my bike and landed on my tummy it was really really sore but I was brave and I did not cry because my daddy picked  me up and put me back on my bike ( which was upside down ) but I am alright. But my mummy was in shock when she heard about what happened.

PS: I am working on a new sewing project. Love From Aley 🐈😍

Day 19 while in lock down.

Hi bloggers

Today I made a little puppet giraffe and I named him Harold. What you had to do was just sew and taped it together and it was really fun. I only did it because my daddy was repainting the whole kitchen and it was so annoying because then we could not cook dinner so we had to eat a sandwich instead. But in the end everything worked out just fine. Love from Aley 😍

While in lock down

what up bloggers

on the 10th of April 2020 Alexandra and my mummy made paper mache and here are all the steps to make paper mache
.1. you get circle cutters and cut A - lot of circles.
.2. next you get one cup of flour and put it in a ice cream box.
.3. then you get another cup but it will be water an put it in the ice cream box.
.4. then you mix it all up and there you have glue home made glue.
.5. then you get a balloon and cover half of the balloon with the home made glue that you made.
.6. then you use the cut out circles that you cut out at the beginning and stick them all on to the balloon
.7. then you will wait for it to dry for the rest of the day and also all night.
.8. then in the morning you get the balloon out of the paper mache by cutting a small hole on the and on the balloon. BY Alexandra 🐱🐈
