Day 29 while in lock down

Hi bloggers

Today I did something new and that new something was rollerskating.  It felt so weird when I tried on some of my mummy's old roller skates from when she was young.  They were really complicated to walk in. WHOA as I made my way to the car wow my arms were everywhere . I finally got into the car and off we went to my dads  work. I got out of the car as soon when we got there.  I could not wait to get to get started.  I impatiently waited for mum to come and get me.  It was really fun until at the end I fell off my feet and grazed my knee. So I got my mummy to help me up and go to my dads work. We covered my knee and then went home. Love From Aley 😍🐈🐈 Also I am so sorry I miss a day of blogging

  1. Hi Alexandra, rollerskating was one of my favourite pastimes when I was round your age. We had a really long drive and I would go up and down, up and down for ages! Our drive had a slight incline on the way up, so it was harder work. I really preferred coming down with it being easier! I had many scrapes when I was learning, but I wasn't going to give up because I got so much enjoyment from it. Has your dad's work got a nice flat area to skate?
Keep up the great work blogging all about what you are keeping busy doing.
See you later this term when we are all back at school.

  3. Hey there Alexandra! Great to see you having so much fun! I remember rollerblading when I was your age and I used to love it! Even though I fell over a lot more than I would've liked :) Have you ever been ice skating before?
Hope your knee is feeling better, and thanks for sharing!

  4. Bonjour Alexandra, my name is Jonathan and I am a student in Room Hauraki at Waikowhai Primary School.

I really enjoyed reading about you rollerskating for the first time. I can relate to that because I have some shoes which come with some wheels. This blog is making me think if I should put them on and try them out. Something you could do differently is you could tell me a bit more about what happened while you were at your dad’s work.

Thanks so much for sharing your learning, I would love you to visit my blog at http://wpsjonathanm.blogspot.com.
