Today in lock down I attended my first school meeting in the afternoon. It was really exciting but kind of short to me. Everything went well only because it was just saying what you had done during lock down. It was fun to see my friends and hear about what they were doing.
During lock down I am having virtual play dates on the phone with my friends. One of my friends is Janna and she doesn't go to my school, so it's great to be able to see her and talk with her on Face time. Today we did a virtual dance competition which was fun. Love From Aley
It was good to see you in our class meeting, too, Alexandra. It sounds like you have had lots of social contact during lockdown even though we can't have the normal level of physical contact. It is better to stay safe!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have a good space for your learning and socialising at home. That plate looks dangerously close to your Chromebook, though! Make sure you keep your food and drink at an appropriate distance from your technology. You don't want to have to send it away to be fixed if there was an accidental spill.
It has been brilliant seeing everyone in our online meetings hasn't it? I'm enjoying being able to speak with everyone each day, and hear what people have been up to. Finding ways to stay in contact with friends has been a really interesting part of our lock down experience - I like your idea of the dance competition Aley. I have been sending my brother videos of me playing the accordion...but he hasn't sent any back, I think I will ask him to now! We'll see you later today.
